Telogic identified by Selangor State Government as the main vendor to supply ImageStream core router to SelangorNet Broadband project

Telogic, December 2003 - Telogic, a leading provider of telecommunications network management solutions as well as solution for mobile/fixed value added services announced that it has been selected by the Selangor State Government to supply the ImageStream core router product for the SelangorNet Broadband project.

ImageStream routers are used to interconnect between the ISP links and the Selangor state government offices that are distributed within the state, through an unlicensed wireless spectrum. As such, ImageStream router is required to meet the stringent requirements of having to route a huge amount of traffic from all the state government offices with low latency while maintaining a high throughput at wirespeed.

In addition to this, with its built-in advance firewall feature, the ImageStream router is configured to secure any possible attacks, spoofing, DoS, flooding, etc. for both inbound and outbound traffic. Its advance QoS module built-in to the router firmware, allows traffic to be categorized and prioritize based on SelangorNet's requirement. All these built-in advanced features to the ImageStream router come for free with every router delivered.
